Fashion trend 2018: Pastel colours + my styling tips

I’m finally back on the blog you guys and I do apologize for the absence. But I’m happy to share a super cool outfit which I styled in collaboration with Taifun, an amazing brand that belongs to Gerry Weber. This particular look revolves around a 2018 fashion trend I really enjoyed incorporating into my everyday wardrobe: pastel colors. Of course this trend has been here since 2017 but to be honest last year I didn’t really get to try it as much, which is why I did so this year. In Spring, for example, I loved wearing dresses in this color. And today I also opted for Blooming Dahlia, to show you how to create a cool autumn outfit. Why? Because according to Pantone this was or is THE must wear pink tone of 2018 and I totally agree!

How to style pastel colours then?

Even though this is more of a summer color I couldn’t help but create a look that can easily be worn of a sunny autumn day as well. If you’re someone like me who always loves trying new things, be brave enough to rock an all-pink look (or all pastel look whichever color you choose to wear). Mine today consists of a beautiful pink long blazer and super cool fitting pants in a lighter pink shade. I liked mixing two different pink shades just for fun, but you could also opt for another pastel color to mix with pink. I added a plain white tee for a clean look and styled some comfy white sneaker for a laid-back ensemble. I finished the look off with some gold jewels and my current favorite everyday bag. This is a look I could wear on a daily and especially throughout the day. It’s comfy, it’s fun and it’s stylish. What do you think?

 

DE: Hallo ihr Lieben! Ich hoffe ihr habt bisher eine tolle Woche. Heute gibt es für euch einen cooles Outfit, welches einen meiner allerliebsten Farbtrends aufgreift: Pastellfarben.  Hierzu gehören neben Pink, auch Farbtöne wie Erdbeere, Pfirsich, Pistazie, Limone, Babyblau oder auch Lila. Zwar kennen wir diesen Trend bereits aus dem Jahr 2017, dennoch war er auch dieses Jahr ganz groß. Vor allem im Sommer konnte ihn wirklich überall sehen. Laut Pantone ist “Blooming Dahlia” im Jahr 2018 DER neue Rosaton, wenn es um Trendfarben geht. Ich muss zugeben, mir haben es Pastellfarben dieses Jahr auch angetan, hier zum Beispiel , denn gerade Blooming Dahlia ist ein toller, warmer Pastellton der sich super kombinieren lässt. Daher zeige ich euch heute in Kooperation mit Taifun, eine tolle Marke welche zu House of GERRY WEBER gehört, wie ihr ein schönes Herbstoutfit um den Modetrend der Pastellfarben kreieren könnt. 

Wie kombiniert man also Pastellfarben?

Pastellfarben wenn auch zart, können dennoch ziemlich auffällig sein. Wer also ganz mutig ist (und außerdem einfach Spaß haben möchte mit diesem Trend), entscheidet sich wie ich für einen All Over Look. Dieser kann natürlich aus einer oder aber mehreren Pastellfarben bestehen. Bei vielen Designern konnte man diese Komplett-Looks auf den Laufstegen dieses Jahr sehen. Doch auch im Alltag lassen sich Pastellfarben super tragen. Wem ein Komplett-Look jedoch zu viel ist, kann zusätzlich  zu eleganten und dezenten Farben wie zum Beispiel Beige oder Oliv greifen. In meinem Fall musste es jedoch pink sein, und zwar in verschiedenen Tönen einfach weil Mode auch Spaß machen soll. Zu einem Longblazer kombinierte ich daher eine  Hose mit super schönem Schnitt, sowie ein schlichtes weißes T-Shirt. Passend zum Shirt mussten dann natürlich auch meine liebsten Sneaker her. Um den Look final abzurunden, entschied ich mich außerdem für goldene Accessoires und meine derzeit liebste Tasche. Ich finde diesen Look super für einen langen und ereignisreichen Tag, er lässt jedoch auch toll abends tragen (vor allem, wenn man das Schuhwerk wechselt). Er ist bequem, stylish und macht einfach Spaß. Was meint ihr?
