Travel Bucketlist: Our Travel Wishlist 2018 

2018 has arrived rather too fast but I really don’t want to complain. The past year was amazing especially with regards to our travel destinations. We headed to Spain three times (Barcelona & Valencia), visited a number of German cities with our GANT family and headed to the Maldives for our honeymoon followed by a sailing trip through Greece. I loved always having my love by my side, which made all these experiences even more especial. The year finally ended with a short trip to London with my dear Jessi, whom I’m so happy to have met last year.

While writing this post and sharing where we really want to travel to this year, we already planned a few trips which I will also include in my list. For one because the first three places we are heading to, are also places I’ve never been to before. So with no further ado I present you our travel wishlist for 2018 with our top 7 destinations!

 

1. Dolomites

This will be our first travel destination in 2018. We will head to Munich by plane and then drive 4 hours up to the mountains to a lovely hotel with the most amazing views of the country. We are especially excited about this trip because we’ll be able to kick off the new year relaxing and spending some quality time as well as create some amazing winter content for you guys!

2. Amsterdam

In February we are heading to Amsterdam for 4 days. This city has been on both our bucket lists for quite a while. We booked it rather spontaneously and can’t wait to explore the DAM. If you have any tips where to go, what to see and where to eat let us know. We are happy about every tip!

3. Milan

Ciao Milano! I’m so ready for this city with my dear Jessi. We will be visiting Milan for Fashion Week next month. Jessi has already been here with her bf last year so she knows where the best spots are (especially for photos hehe). I’m really excited to attend Milan Fashion Week for the first time. It should be super fun and amazing for the eye with all the stylish people running around the city.

4. Iceland 

I’ve never been to Iceland but always wanted to for the past 3 years. Since Chris is also head over heels for this place (although we both haven’t been yet) so we want to head there together this year. I can’t wait to see the stunning landscape and hopefully northern lights. Fingers crossed! 🙂

5. Thailand

we haven’t really seen much from Asia yet (apart from the Maldives). So no wonder this beautiful country had to make it to our bucket list. My sister visited Thailand several times and always came back amazed by the beauty of the country, the stunning white sand beaches, the people’s hospitality AND the affordability when it comes to almost everything. I really hope we can tick this off our bucket list in 2018.

 6. South Africa

Africa in general is definitely on our agenda this year. Among our favourite places we want to visit are South Africa, Tanzania and Kenia. Let’s hope 2018 has at least one of these dreamy places in store for us.

7. Marrakech 

I can’t even tell you how much I look forward to travelling to Marrakech in March. This place has been everywhere on social media which really made me want to visit Marrakech even more. Luckily we will be travelling there for a job, so stay tuned for a lot of content here and on Instagram. I mostly look forward to the weather, the people and the food. Time can’t run fast enough for this day to come! 🙂
